Credit Report Errors

HELP WITH CREDIT REPORT PROBLEMS ARLINGTON TEXAS

There are lots of things we do every year in Arlington, whether that’s super bowl parties, checking smoke detector batteries, or renewing insurance and registrations. But there’s one thing most North Texas consumers forget to do that could be worth hundreds of dollars.

Don’t wait another moment to check your credit report -- at least once a year, if not every six months. It’s free, it’s easy, and it dictates your ability to qualify for loans, credit cards, and even employment.

Have you seen your credit score falling? That’s likely because there’s something you don’t see on your report.

Start by requesting yours from www.annualcreditreport.com.

There are many possible reasons to lose points on your credit score, but if for some reason you’ve maintained a consistent series of accounts, this shouldn’t happen. My name is James Foley PLLC, and I’m here to protect you from fraud and illegal activity by companies who try to steal from you.

There are little to no “police” in the world of fair credit reporting, and it’s up to consumers to monitor these companies.

The Clock is Ticking

Days can make all the difference when it comes to taking action to protect yourself and your carefully curated credit.

When it comes to incorrect or stolen information on a credit card, you might only have a matter of months to read your report and argue the issue. If you find something problematic, you may only have a year to take action, assuming you’re checking your report annually, which isn’t the case with most consumers.

While there are steps you can take to dispute fraudulent claims, or criminally motivated “hard credit pulls,” the CRA’s may ignore your dispute, and you may be owed damages. That’s where I come in.

Call in the Big Guns

I’m an experienced attorney, and the kind of person you need in a fight with large corporations that might otherwise ignore you. I’ve won Arlington clients hundreds of dollars, if not thousands, in disputes over problems on their credit reports, and I’m only getting started. The same is true for Grand Prairie, Irving, and the entire DFW metroplex.

I’ll begin by addressing a certified mailed envelope with all the necessary documentation, demanding that the CRA address fraudulent information. This is the first step in any credit repair process. Even better, I’ll do this for the price of postage, and have an entire template for the process.

Where I really excel comes in step 2, though. At this stage, many agencies ignore your dispute, further harming your credit and delaying your access to the statute of limitations. Or even worse, an agency might consider false evidence from a company they do business with, rather than consider yours.

You might ask, aren’t there laws in place to keep the agencies in line? There are. And they’re not effective.

Taking Them to Court

When your tires are slipping, and they won’t return my calls, that’s when it’s time to bring a lawsuit against the agency. If I truly believe your case is winnable, I’ll engage for you, and bring the creditors to justice.

I have the experience to deal with these bad actors, and will act in the best interest of you and other consumers across North Texas, from Arlington to Irving, and Grand Prairie to Grapevine.
