What are your favorite traditions, Weatherford?
Whether it’s the Christmas lights at Texas Motor Speedway, or summers at Fossil Ridge State Park, there are always joyous events to partake every year, from Aledo, to Mineral Wells, and Decatur.
One tradition that you should add to your calendar -- which may be less joyous, but certainly will help in the long term -- is checking your credit report on www.annualcreditreport.com.
Your credit report is different from your credit score! It’s much more detailed and determines the score that’s issued to your account. Have you seen some issues with your score lately? It’s probably because of your report.
You renew your driver’s registration each year to save $100 in penalties, so why not check your credit report to the tune of saving $1,000? It’s possible!
There are many possible reasons to lose points on your credit score, but if for some reason you’ve maintained a consistent series of accounts, this shouldn’t happen. My name is James Foley PLLC, and I’m here to protect you from fraud and illegal activity by companies who try to steal from you.
There aren’t strong police that can monitor Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA’s) like Equifax. Unfortunately, that’s on you as the consumer to do, until Washington can get its act together.
The Clock is Ticking
An erroneous 30-day bank card delinquency on your credit report could lead to a 100 point drop to your credit score. -ConsumersUnion
Weeks can make the difference between catching a problem with your report and not.
Because the statute of limitations on disputes is two years, and most consumers only check their credit once a year if they’re responsible, you could only have a matter of months to take action once you find incorrect activity.
Even worse, when you catch the issues and dispute them, that may only be the beginning of your troubles.
Call in the Big Guns
I’m an experienced attorney, and the kind of partner you need if you’re going to take on the large CRA’s. I’ve won Weatherford and Decatur clients hundreds if not thousands of dollars, and I’m only getting started. The same is true for Aledo, Mineral Wells, Parker County, and the entire DFW metroplex.
I’ll begin by opening a dispute or following up on your existing one. This is the first step in any credit repair process. Even better, I’ll do this for the price of postage, and have an entire template for the process.
Where I really flex my knowledge is in the period that follows. An ignored dispute can harm your credit even worse, and they’ll purposefully ignore your evidence to penalize you.
Taking Them to Court
When your tires are slipping, and when I feel they’ve officially delayed action, is when it’s time to bring a lawsuit against the agency. If I truly believe your case is winnable, I’ll engage for you, and bring the creditors to justice.
I have the experience to deal with these bad actors, and will act in the best interest of you and other consumers across North Texas, from Aledo to Decatur, as well as Weatherford and Mineral Wells.
So call me for a free consultation and begin the process, or visit me in my Fort Worth offices. Be a part of fixing our country’s financial system once and for all. -- James Foley, PLLC
